Little People

I bought two little mannequins over the weekend for my photog students to use as mini models. One of their assignments will be to pose the two wooden models and then take the time to think of the composition and perspective that would result in the best shot before just pointing and shooting like they normally do.

I didn't have a black background so I unrolled a yoga mat I found buried in my closet and used it. Turns out, yoga mats make great little backdrops so now I actually have a use for it.
